Collision repair facilities are asked to keep an eye out for a 1925 Studebaker which, along with its trailer, was stolen from the offices of Niagara Patient Transfer in Niagara On The Lake, Ont.

Niagara Patient Transfer operates a community outreach program geared to long term care residents in the Niagara and Hamilton Regions.

This program involves taking the classic Studebaker to nursing homes and take residents for short rides.

“It brought many many smiles to many faces,” says Casey McNab, director of operations. “The last time we were out was in mid-November before the weather turned bad.”

McNab says the car and trailer were stolen from the organization’s offices the late on the night of February 23 or early February 24.

Those with any information regarding either the car or trailer are being asked to contact McNab at 905-650-7282, the Niagara Regional Police or Crime Stoppers. A $4,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the return of the car and trailer.

The trailer is an all white enclosed unit with no markings whatsoever.

What does the trailer look like.....is it an enclosed unit that hides the car from view?
