Disc Smasher Keeps Grinding Discs Flat

TEXT SIZE bigger text smaller text

Steck Manufacturing Company's Disc Smasher (P/N 35270) will ensure quality grinding discs are available as well as optimizing a shop's investment in material costs for these expensive discs by reducing excessive curling and limiting disposal or returns of discs.
Grinding discs are held down under pressure from our reinforced Nylon Disc Smasher with its easy ratcheting handle.
One squeeze of the release lever while grasping the handle will release the internal metal ratchet mechanism and allow the technician to remove the Disc Smasher to gain easy access to the grinding discs.
The uniquely designed reinforced Nylon base with an 8"long metal center post can hold up to 25 - 5", 7" or 10" grinding discs. Disc Smasher's unique capture and store design forms the disc to conform to the base for any of the three disc sizes ensuring safe, flat vibration free grinding. Existing warped or curled discs can be restored back to proper shape after a week of direct pressure from the Disc Smasher.
The base can be wall or bench mounted to meet the needs of the technician to easily store grinding discs. Disc Smasher is a valuable tool for body shops, machine shops, fabricating shops, and marine repair shops protecting shop investments by storing grinding discs and repairing warped or curled grinding discs.
