To align with its leadership transition plans, Sam Mercanti, president & CEO of CARSTAR Automotive Canada Inc. has announced a number of new appointments to its corporate management team.
Lisa Mercanti-Ladd has been with CARSTAR since its inception. As the former senior director of marketing and client services, and an integral part of CARSTAR executive team, she has been instrumental in building the CARSTAR brand and in the development of leading marketing and insurance initiatives. As the newly appointed assistant vice president of marketing and client services, she will continue to lead many strategic initiatives for CARSTAR.
MJ Marshall has been with CARSTAR for the past five years and has recently been appointed to assistant vice president of finance. MJ has been a valuable member of the executive team and will continue to play a very important role in the strategic leadership of CARSTAR. Her dedication and commitment will continue to be an asset as she leads legal and risk assessment matters as well as enhancing CARSTAR's vendor partner relations.
Lillian Haskett has served CARSTAR's franchise partners for more than 10 years as their first point of contact for their creative needs as well as conducting research to ensure the needs of customers are met. Her new role as marketing manager will see her take on more responsibilities in helping to improve CARSTAR's customer experience and excel CARSTAR's marketing and branding initiatives.
Michael Macaluso has been appointed to the position of quality systems manager. Macaluso joined CARSTAR as part of the Insurance team two years ago and was instrumental in getting CARSTAR's Care Centre operating. As the quality systems manager, he will lead the quality systems team to better serve CARSTAR's franchise partners and meet the needs of its insurance partners.
For the past two years, Mike Beier has worked diligently to standardize and strengthen CARSTAR's value proposition between its vendor partners and franchise partners. As the newly appointed procurement manager, he will continue to lead CARSTAR's efforts to find new opportunities that will benefit all stakeholders.
Matt Bell joined CARSTAR three years ago and has helped to lead the organization with franchise conversion process) as well as special projects including introducing CARSTAR's Corporate Procedures & Guidelines (CPG). He has been appointed to human resources and training manager and will continue to focus on staff development and meeting the technical and non technical training needs of CARSTAR's franchise partners.
Recent additions to the CARSTAR team also include Brendon Buckler as account manager, Nicole Gaudet as intermediate accountant and Norm Hay as graphic designer.
