CARSTAR invited its members and their spouses, insurance partners and friends to a very special event this past Monday evening to raise funds for breast cancer awareness in Hamilton, Ontario. Carstar’s special guest for the evening was four-time Grammy award winner, actress, Order of the British Empire recipient and 19-year cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John, who shared her story of living with and ultimately beating cancer.
Guests enjoyed a gourmet five-course meal and had the opportunity to “meet and greet” with a true legend in support of a cause that touches nearly all of us. The evening raised more than $60,000 for a local cancer centre.
