CARSTAR Automotive Canada Inc. will begin 2013 with strong momentum as it welcomes 25 new franchise partners.
The recent NAPA Autopro transition will account for the conversion of 20 new locations throughout Quebec in January, with more locations expected to be added in the early part of the year. “This will greatly improve our coverage within the province,” states Yves Robichaud, director of development, Quebec. “Now with 45 stores in Quebec, we will have an opportunity to provide an enhanced value proposition to our insurance and vendor partners and customers.”
In Alberta, long time store owners Bruce Hemstreet and Trevor Jones will open their second CARSTAR location in Medicine Hat, while in Atlantic Canada, Rick Upham will be opening his third CARSTAR location in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Both locations are brand new state-of-the art repair centres.
In British Columbia, new locations are being added in Duncan and 100 Mile House. Both stores have already completed CARSTAR’s integration training and are currently updating their store image and signage before they will be officially launched.
In Ontario, CARSTAR Kincardine has recently joined the network and will begin its year as a new CARSTAR franchise partner.
“In our 18-year history this has been the most amount of stores we have had in our conversion action plan process at the same time,” says Michael Macaluso, AVP of operations. “We look forward to working with our new franchise partners in providing assistance to enhance their business and strengthen our network.”
