LKQ Corporation Announces Third Quarter 2012 Results

LKQ Corporation reported revenue for the third quarter of 2012 of $1.02 billion, an increase of 29.7% as compared to $783.9 million in the third quarter of 2011. Net income for the third quarter of 2012 was $54.0 million, an increase of 9.8% as compared to $49.2 million for the same period of 2011. Diluted earnings per share of $0.18 for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012 increased 5.9% from $0.17 for the third quarter of 2011. The Company noted that the third quarter 2012 diluted earnings per share included a charge equal to $0.01 for a change in fair value of contingent consideration liabilities and for restructuring and acquisition related expenses.
