Norton, a brand of Saint-Gobain and a leading manufacturer of high quality refinishing products that enhance efficiency and reduce supply costs, announces the launch of the TORQ Paint System with SpillGard. Norton TORQ Paint System is manufactured with the company’s proprietary SpillGard technology, comprised of a quick-connect lid, innovative self-sealing valve, and triple seal. Because all components are disposable, paint technicians bring a completely clean system into the booth every time, eliminating the possibility of contamination.
The quick-connect lid is simply and securely locked onto a spray gun with a click technicians can hear and feel. With the innovative self-sealing valve, Norton TORQ Paint System with SpillGard eliminates the need to use plugs for transporting, storing or shaking. Three separate seals within the unitized lid and liner assure paint remains inside the cup, ensuring no leaks.
“Paint is a large portion of business for bodyshops, so it is critical to make the process as efficient as possible,” says Biagio P. Pellegrino, senior product/market manager, Norton Automotive Aftermarket. “The new disposable TORQ Paint System with SpillGard gives shops an edge on efficiency – technicians can prepare the paint in advance and ‘grab and go’ as needed, with minimal cleanup.”
The Norton TORQ Paint System with SpillGard is packaged in 24-count ready-to-use dispenser boxes. With an extra large filter size and expanded space between the filter and the tower the Norton TORQ Paint System with SpillGard allows for increased volume for optimum flow. The self-sealing lid is offered in various filter sizes for both solvent and waterborne paints.
