Head honchos seldom hear what goes on in the field. The author of a calendar in the U.S. designed especially for bodyshops is launching a tongue-in-cheek contest to enlighten the CEOs of major American-based insurance companies on the sometimes far-fetched excuses their adjusters use to get out of paying for repairs. (Presumably, Canadians can vote based on their experiences with the Canadian counterparts of these companies.) Choose from State Farm’s CEO Edward B. Rust Jr., Progressive’s CEO Glenn Renwick, and Farmers’ CEO Jeff Dailey. To participate in the survey, go to www.thats-included.com and cast your vote.
The Insurance Adjuster Quote of the Day calendar takes a jab at insurance adjusters and their ridiculous excuses why they won’t pay for needed repairs. The calendar was created by a frustrated bodyshop owner who hears the same lame excuses over and over from adjusters. Each page has an actual quote from an adjuster and a cartoon depicting the mood of the bodyshop owner, employee or adjuster. The calendars are available from That’s Included, Inc. for those who need comic relief from the stresses of bodyshop life.
That’s Included, Inc. will mail a calendar to the winning Insurance CEO. The survey is available now through December 11. The lucky Insurance CEO will be announced December 12. Look for announcements on www.thats-included.com and Facebook.
